I have been researching a WW1 casualty but I am trying to find out if he served in the Boar war.

The document I found on Ancestry that made me think he could have served in the Boar was something I haven't found before.

" All South Africa, Military Index, 1853 - 2004 results for Moses Clulow"
Name: M . Clulow
Death Date: 16 May 1917
Cause of Death: DS
Rank or Designation: Pte
Regiment or Unit: The Border Regt
Serial Number: 1663
Collection: World War I and II Roll of Honour, 1914 - 1948

What I have on Moses Clulow is that he was born 1883 Gilcux. Cumberland.
He was killed in France 16/05/1917. 1st Bn Border regiment.Pte, 25379.

Regarding the Boar war I haven't been able find anything on Ancestry.

My maths aren't that great but in my reckoning he must have been about 16 or 17 if he served would this have been too young ?

Regards for any help Mike.
