Hello Everyone

Here is another medallion from my collection. It is listed as Hern 656, Captain Eugene Smith. According to Hern only a white metal variety exists. The one shown here is a sterling silver one which is hallmarked and stamped silver at the bottom. The medal comes in its original box and is 38mm in diameter.

I have found that Hern listed only the items that existed to his knowledge at the time he wrote the book..... I have a few medallions in other metals that he has not listed.....
