I have this cabinet picture by Kingham of Bedford, I wondered if it was possible to identify the medal ribbon QSA ? what he has poking out of his jacket? I wondered if he was with the BIY?
Any thoughts at all.
Any help much appreciated.
John

Hi John......

I would say that it is a QSA ribbon and the other item is a pocket watch chain.......

As to the unit it is possible but I cannot say for sure........

Hi again John......

Here is a watch chain that is made out of coins that I have in my collection so the one in the picture could be similar......

Mike, many thanks for taking the time to reply and for your good points. Appreciated. I realise there is nothing apart from a Bedford photographer to link him to the BIY.
I like to think so though.
Cheers
