Hi all
In a recent attic search I found three medals awarded to my Great Grandfather in the Boer War
one of the medals is a DCM.
I would love to know why he was awarded this medal, is there any web site or archives that might give me the information ?
his details are :
MAY,25417 Corporal T J in 38th Field Company Royal Engineers ..
MEDAL IS DATED 1st July 1901

Thanks all

Alan

Hi Alan

An attic find like that must be like winning a lottery. :woohoo: I have not had either of those experiences, so I am only guessing. I envy you your good fortune.

Regards
Brett
