Arthur George. Discharged medically unfit.

Arthur George Pierce attested into the Cape Police District 2 in Kimberley on the 1st January 1900. He was 26 years old and was from Exeter, Devon England.

He had previous service in the Cape Government Railways as a Goods Clerk and in the Cape Police as a Special Constable. He had been in SA for 6 years by the time he attested. He served in the Special Police from the 29th September 1899 until the 31st December 1899 and as mentioned attested into the CP Dist 2 on the 1st Jan 1900.

Nice medal.
