That's the first time I've ever seen a Paardeberg clasp (or any other) mis-spelled! Plus of course the impossibility of the combination. Where did that one come from?

Good Morning David.....

It is on a made up medal that has all the bars.....

I did not notice the miss-spelling myself, good eyes......

The medal is in the Glenbow Museum and is named "A Gift from Master of Mint"......

I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to be looking for in post 23294! I saw it at last!!!!!! Reminds me of the illustration in Vol.II of "With the Flag to Pretoria" page 628; WHAT IS NEAREST THE EYE IS HARDEST TO SEE. (A native woman escaping through the Boer lines). Possibly a despatch carrier?
