Hi , My grandfather Frederick Sidney Baker b 18 feb 1892 had I have been told by my aunt 6 brothers all killed in the Boer war. The names I have are
James H baker b 1876
George Baker b 1878
Ernest Baker b 1882
Samuel Baker 1886
all born in wisbech Norfolk Uk, ,Sorry that is all the info I have .
Where do I go from here to find out about these soldiers?

There was a Corporal T.G. Baker, of Walsoken, Wisbech, who died of enteric fever on 13th March 1900.

Thank you for that info. Question for you where can I find the service records for soldiers ,so I can find out if the above Cpl was part of my family.

Are you actually suggesting that the five men you mention were all members of the British Army or are you merely saying that they are members of your family, in all the years I have had an interest in the Anglo Boer War, I have certainly never come across six brothers who were all killed, I would think it to be most unlikely, moreover, if you are sure about the particular dates you mention, I'd have just said not a chance.
