Thanks for posting, The Graphic always had some fine drawings. Another great periodical was I believe called Black and White.

The postcard is German and it is perhaps not linked to the Boer War, but Brian is in a better position to judge it.

I concur with Brett, during the Boer War and even during the so-called 1st Boer War (of Majuba Fame)the anti Brit feelings ran high in Europe. Postcards such as these would have been doing the rounds in the European countries. The postcard is definately German and not Dutch. Artistic licence with the British uniforms if this was from the 1900 period, as the British troops of course were known accross the globe as Red Coats, but these uniforms were still in use during the 1st Boer War.

I have tried to make out a date but sadly cannot.

Apparently this is a photograph of the first British PoWs captured near Dundee.
