I have not followed up the links picked up from Google, so I have no record of publications. The SABC's Afrikaans radio station has carried several interviews with Dr von Vollenhoven and he is evidently very committed to following the trail of SH through excavation of their camp sites.

Thanks, Brett !

Cheers,

I contact relatives of members of SH also pick up bits and pieces from other books and old newspaper articles. I also correspond with folk in Swaziland who have similar historical interests. Cheers, Bill Goldsworthy

Hello Bill

Happy New Year!

I know Bill's book (I read the proof for him) and my father is Huw Jones who I know you have corresponded with about Steinaecker's.

About the data on your site: As the data is un-referenced I wanted to know if you have a new source or the data is taken from Woolmore or the National Archives (WO127/WO126) papers.

Hello Meurig,
I have no new major source, only the bits and pieces that other researchers have not found. Still finding info in the SA archives which are retreating in efficiency unfortunately. Old n/paper articles by ex members of SH are nuggets also. Best wishes, Bill
