884 lots to go under the hammer. www.dnw.co.uk/auctions/catalogue/results.php?auction_id=343

Good luck if you are bidding :)

I am watching but not bidding on lot 337, the no clasp QSA to Postmaster and Telegrapher H H Paris. Will be interesting.

There were lots of QSAs at the DNW auction over the last two days. Was anyone successful?

I managed 1 out of 6 bids so not terribly successful.

I got 3/3

Nothing spectacular but they are as follows:

Natal 1906, 1 clasp, 1906 (Tpr. C. P. L. Flood, Natal Police.) also entitled to a QSA with Elandslaagte to the NFA and a KSA to the NVCR

Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 5 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (1725 3rd. Cl Tpr: R. Mc.Kenzie. S.A.C.)

Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 3 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, South Africa 1901(4131 Sgt. A. R. Meurant, Lanc. Fus.)

All were bought for their research potential.

Regards

Rory
