That is an excellent feature, clearly shows the naming, the style on this one is completely different to the normal light impressed naming found on Natal 1906 medals, I wonder if this engraving is unique to these men?

Having many such medals to both officers and other ranks. I'm a bit worried about the naming, Great feature though.......

I wonder if that is why they have decided to use the 360 degree view on that medal? The catalogue description that the Natal Medal is 'engraved in upright capitals' does not indicate whether this is unusual but it is only the draft catalogue so perhaps this will be edited.

My expectation of the style of naming. This by the way was when cutting & pasting ment cutting & pasting. Probably in the 1970's
Looking for Salutries, Salootries and Veterinary Duffadars.
I collect primarily QSAs to Indian Recipients.
