The list certainly contains many gems for collectors of South African units and units that are seldom seen for sale. It is great that Spink have made the time to add in more detail to the lots and this will mean that the catalogue will be often consulted, much like the 1999 sale catalogue.
I noticed their list of Rifle Association medals contains one medal that does not belong there.
Quite frankly, having attended the saleroom on both days, I have very fond memories, it was certainly a most memorable centenary and to actually be able to leave the capital with a handful of medals was simply a bonus, a lovely week.
