Hi

I'm new to the forum and live in Johannesburg S Africa.

I've attached pictures of my great grandfather in uniform as well as his service medal and clasps.

I'd like to determine which unit he served in.

The inscription on the side of the medal is as follows:

2726 3rd CL TPR: DL Alexander S.A.G

Best regards, Nick

Are you sure it's not SAC?
That would be 3rd Class Trooper, South African Constabulary.
Great image by the way!

Hi Roy, thank you for your reply. I've checked the medal and it is indeed SAC as you point out.
