I will start a new thread so as to help future researchers find the information. Meurig kindly noted that E.E. Cock's name is on a plaque in King's Lynn, Norfolk, England.
I have visited that plaque on a number of occasions (it is the 2nd one created, after it was noted that the first one left off approx 50% of the names eligible to be listed.)
Please see new topic "King's Lynn, Norfolk Memorial plaque of men of the borough who fought in the SAW"

I cannot thank this group enough! you have provided, in less that 24 hours, what I might never have found!
I'm (hopefully) attaching 2 items - 1. a scan of a newspaper clipping regarding the installation of both plaques, listing all names and
2. a photo of the 2nd plaque - sorry I do not have one of the 1st - only was concerned with the one with my grandfather's name.
PLEASE let me know if you cannot view these
