A family group of medals from the next Warwick and Warwick auction with some uncertainty about the number of individuals involved.

Possible family related group with 1. 1899 QSA Defence of Kimberley clasp to 22071 Gnr W. Thompson 23rd W.D. R.G.A. edge bruises, nearly very fine. 2. WW1 Military Medal and France 1914-1918 Croix de Guerre with star to 5576 Gnr W. Thompson 123/Hy By R.G.A. very fine. 3. KGV Territorial Efficiency Medal to 1660434 Gnr W. Thompson R.A. nearly extremely fine. With large range of copied rolls, MIC, LGs, RA attestation paper etc. QSA roll confirms single clasp and remarks state invalided No 3 Depot. 5576 William Thompson's MM was announced in the London Gazette dated 27th October 1916 and Croix de Guerre in the London Gazette dated1st May 1917. He was also issued a 1914-15 Star trio, landing in France 8/3/15 and Class Z Reserve 7/2/19. RA attestation book lists 1660434 attesting aged 34^ 17/7/20 so too young for Siege of Kimberley when he would have been 13 or 14, TEM was issued 1931 which confirms other service, almost certainly WW1. So could be to 2 or 3 people, no service papers found for any of the service numbers.
