Cornelis Johannes Brits Senior and Junior both claimants on 9 May and 12 June 1923 of the Heidelberg District. Both served for the Duration of the War and both were at Spion Kop.

Vorm B shows that Casper Jacobus Brits fought with the Frankfort Kdo under Commandant Alexander Ross. Fought at Estcourt, Bothaville, Tugela, Vredefort and Frankfort. He was present at the action at Bothaville 6 November 1900 when Lt. Col. Le Galloes was killed. Medal issued 18/9/41. Type 2 suspender and small WW II naming.
