Bush | J Paul | | | He was born June 30, 1857, and is son of Major Robert Bush, 96th Regiment. He was educated at Clifton College and the University College, London. He served during the Boer War as Senior Surgeon of the Princess Christian Hospital, Natal Field Force (medal and clasps, mentioned in despatches, CMG); and as PMO on HM Hospital ship Lismore Castle in 1899-1900. He is the author of numerous surgical papers. He married, in 1887, Laura, eldest daughter of John Robertson, of Victoria, Australia.
