At the weekend, I upgraded the site software and also the version of the server language PHP. As a result, I think the performance of the site is faster than it was but I have noticed that submitting a post to the forum takes longer.

Are others seeing these changes?

Yes, it does take a count of perhaps fifteen-twenty at this end for a reply/new topic to go up. A trifle unnerving when first seen :unsure: (Has IL pushed the wrong button?) OK when used to the slight delay.

It is taking me about 12 seconds to post a reply. New posts seem to be faster.

I will continue to investigate.
