Not wanting to be the harbinger of ill fortune but, if you haven't heard from CC in the affirmative by now, then I think the medals have gone elsewhere unless, as suggested by Brett, something has gone awry in the back room.

That happened to me over twenty years ago with one of the London salerooms, I had left a commission bid, it was not acted on, with the lot going for about twenty percent less than I had been prepared to actually pay, I was livid.

Thanks for the kind words. I have already asked Nicole (of CC) what is happening; that was a week ago and no reply yet. Always possible that "something is awry in the back room" or there is "simmering". At this distance, there is not much urging you can do. CC have always been very professional in the past and that is something.
Earlier this year, IL had a very bad experience with a certain dealer when he had reserved a certain (very desirable) item, had that confirmed, sent the money by Bank transfer and had the payment acknowledged - only to get an email several days later saying that the item had already been sold. Livid is not the word. Not that I would even think of putting CC in that category.
Anyway, we live in hope

Well, I should not worry too much, if you have not got this particular lot, you will find another in due course, their high price often does tempt collectors to sell them now and again and they have consistently turned up over the last three decades.
