Fought with Lichtenburg CDO. Photocopies of application papers show that Christoffel Petrus Pieterss Bresler lived at “6A Turf Club Straat Turfontein” He was a burger in the Lichtenburg Cdo. He joined up on the 29 September 1899 to the 25th February 1902 when he was wounded in the left arm. At the 28th February 1901 Ysterspruit Dist. Lichtenburg. He fought with Gen. Cilliers. Gen De La Rey, Gen Liebenburg Komdt Vermaas, Veldt-Pienaar. Copy of Vorm B shows he fought at Modderrivier; Rooi Laagte; Kimberley; Ysterspruit; Klipriver; Pretoria; Donkerhoek en gevangen Lord Methuen. He was taken POW and taken to India. Umbala Kamp.
