Good morning, I am trying to follow up on whom I think might be my great great grandfather. All we know is that he did serve and was a prisoner of war in either Ceylon or India? Would there be any records of that?

The only POW's with the surname spelled that way are below - none of them suit your relatives first names. Do you have any evidence that he was a POW?



Also no POW with this variation of the surname.



That said - there is also this post on the Forum above your comments - you will have to ask a researcher in Pretoria to pull the Vorm B for you - this will give you more detail. This researcher also has the lists of POW's.

The spelling in the British Registers are "Robertze"
