I regret that the roll for Marshall's Horse is one I do not have. Have you tried the usual, well advertised on-line sites? If he is not on the main roll, he could well be on a supplementary roll. In case you wish to learn more about the activities of Marshall's Horse, I thoroughly recommend you have a look in Stirling's "The Colonials in South Africa".
I am sure you will find the membership of this site to be very helpful.

Many thanks! Stirling's book is on it's way - based on your recommendation. There's actually an excellent account of the unit here on this very site. As regards Dalgetty, I have not tried the paid-for sites yet...
