Many thanks for the responses. I have added Thickens, Smith & Keohane details. It has been quite and interesting project so far, it seems as though a small group of men would receive their discharge from one unit and then decide to join Rimington's / Damants. That accounts for some of those who had previous service but it appears that some just 'did their time' received their discharge and went on with life.
Looking at some of the surnames the unit was quite diverse culturally.
