This volume is a bit on an oddity in that it is not a Parliamentary Command Paper (no "Cd." number). Only a few other H.M.S.O. publications fall into this category (Ron Hackett lists only eight). These include the Report of the Central Red Cross Committee, the Railways History, and the Telegraph Operations History.

About ten years ago, From Neil Smith, I came across a DVD listing "Conditions of Service, South African and Overseas Contingents" and I mentioned it in an earlier post about - I think - TGs. In addition to attestation and discharge papers, it gave rates of pay and unit classifications. I can assist if anyone needs to know such details.
Regards
IL.

This is the volume I described above, of which I have an original copy. The example here is in fine condition, so I can provide Hi Res scans of any entries that members might require.
