Good Morning Everyone.......

The site is a bit quite lately, I guess everyone is on holiday......

So I saw this on another site and I thought I would maybe start something here.....

"Why did you pick Your Avatar and is there anything special about it?????"

and to new members......

"Why no Avatar?????"

Just a little flight of fantasy.....

Mike

Now, my Avatar is one of the pride and joys of my collection......

Mike,

Mine is a picture of the first Cape Police group I ever owned (and still do) and as researching the CP is my interest I use it as my Avatar.

Mine is the "Duke of Cambridge's Own" (47th Company), 13th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry, which they wore on the side of their pith helmets.

From your own collection and which you kindly allowed me to use!

All best,

Justin

My avatar is the QSA/KSA pair awarded to Inspector A G Abraham, Natal Police, who was a good research subject and who to me epitomises the dedication and service ethic of policemen in Colonial Natal.
