Hi everybody
I was successful with (and very pleased with!) three of the five 2nd Boer War DCM groups I bid on :
Lot 51 (Feast, 5th Dragoon Guards); Lot 54 (McKinnon, 6th Dragoons and Lot 55 (Carney, Liverpool Rgt)

I got the DCM to Charles George Olsson, probably a Swede, of Kitchener's Fighting Scouts. A bit expensive, but not many Swedish and KFS DCM's around.

Hi David, know how you feel - I blanked as well - the prices were way more than I thought they would be.

It just goes to show that the Boer War is a very 'hot' collecting area at the moment. Even KSA's are starting to fetch reasonable prices.
