Hello Mike,
I was confused here, I take it, Purnell's QSA is the example on the left and Shattell's on the right, if so, what are the clasps on William Shattell's medal, both WO100/302 and WO97 confirms his KSA.
Some nice Great War Infantry titles and I like the SAC hat badge, those are getting hard to come by these days.
Regards Frank

Good Morning Frank......

Yes the Purnell medal is on the right and the Shatnell on the left with the bars, Natal, Orange Free State and Transvaal, the 1901 / 1902 bars are loose on the ribbon..... Thanks you have now solved a question.......

The real scarce badge is the one in the middle..... Royal Canadian Mounted Police pocket badge for Namibia.......

In the center is a Vesta case with the Victorian Crest of the Royal Canadian Artillery, the type of thing that they rec'd as a gift before they went to SA..... Hallmarked 1899.......
