Last night 2 neighbours from across the street have been found to be positive..... Hits close to home...… What a welcome to the city as they just move in a short time ago...… Had a trip planned for end of month but that is now cancelled.....

Not going back then, the service needs as many people as they can get at the moment.

Not applicable to the job I did in the NHS. I wasn't in nursing or clinical care. The NHS employs people in many jobs. They employ people to go round outside the hospital, picking up rubbish. I very much doubt they'll be asking anyone who retired from that job to return to help them out.

Okay, just wondered, I think, to be quite honest, if anyone who has actually retired becomes a recipient of one of those letters, it certainly would take a considerable degree of bravery to take up his or her post again, although, these are extraordinary times we are living in, just eighty years on and sadly, another Battle of Britain to fight, not forgetting the rest of the globe.
