Looking back to when Spink sold the group to Phelips in 2009, the figure was £1,100 which I believe includes the premium.

Britannia Medal Fair is on for 09:30 till 14:00 this Sunday 14th May.
I have never been before, is it worth the train journey down from the midlands?

Also, militaria fairs at Chatham, Wolverley (near Kidderminster), Leeds and Bedford on the same day.

Steve,

There are quite a few medal dealers at Britannia so it is a good opportunity to talk to them and also see first hand the material that may be familiar from their websites. There is next to no militaria on offer.

Several auctioneer attend so it is also an opportunity to ask them to bring along lots for forthcoming auctions for inspection. Otherwise, we can gaze at the amazing exemplars from the catalogues that they display.

I have attended most, when possible, for the last few years and enjoy them. I have yet to sample the much lauded Britannia curry though!
