Caesar's Hill is now more commonly referred to as Wagon Hill (or Platrand to descendents of the Boers). In terms of the battle on 6/1/1900, Wagon Hill is the western part of hill, while Caesar's Camp covers the larger eastern part.

There are several monuments to regiments that took part in the battle, including one to the Devonshire Regiment that looks similar to the one on your postcard. The Devonshire Regiment monument was already in place in September 1900, so, if it is the monument shown, your postcard could date back that far.

Thank you for your reply and the extra information, I had heard of Wagon Hill but was unaware it was the same location.
Thanks for the suggestion on the monument, David has another option, what are you views please.
