Gentlemen,
In those long off days, Spink held their sales in Christie's Ryder Street galleries, it was very impressive to walk in and often find yourself surrounded by important works, sometimes by old masters.
In a perverse sort of way I was actually quite sorry when they moved up to Bloomsbury! :(
Though, it is only a short walk from Euston!
Regards Frank

I see that a pdf of the results has been posted but to answer the original query: the results are actually on the Christie's website. Spink was owned by Christie's in those days.

All the best,

Justin

I used to work in Bloomsbury for a couple of years and would spend my lunch times going through their wonderful collection of old medal catalogues, some reaching back as far as the Boer War. Holding the auctions in this same room has always brought back nice memories for me. Now, success in that room has been particularly poor for me but it is great to be there.

Gentlemen,
I very much like their current premises too, great for me as it is so close to Euston, I remember seeing the medal departments laughable pokey little office at their old King Street building down in St James's and wondering how they actually managed as well as they did.
