Frank,

There were many QSAs thee today. I did think about trying to count them at one point so see how many were in that small space. What with the QSAs, DTD, a couple of Boer War DDCm, Boer War DSO group to Percival for £5,500, the ABW was well represented today.

I must go and check that story of the Hampshire Yeomanry too.

Kind regards
David

Hello David,
I have always avoided medals to the IY, Kiln's medal has been doing the rounds for quite sometime now.
I've always bought Rhodesia clasps to New Zealander's or Rhodesian's rather than the IY, Herbert Kiln was attached to the Rhodesian Field Force Artillery, but, it is a nice medal and should really find a good home.

I was at Britannia today, and surprised at the number of QSAs in the room but over 80% are on the internet so very little fresh.

I bought an IY QSA from Gary Wood - a new dealer to me who doesn't have a website. It is a simple CC,SA02 to GW Scotton of the 144th Coy, 32nd Bn who arrived on May 28th, 1902; ticks a box in my collection.

There is a man of the same name who served in the Canadian Forces in WW1 - waiting to see if it the same man.
