On 68/SA/1428 H M The Queen commanded that a SA Medal should be issued to a charger of the 2nd Life Guards. On 68/2LGds/67 it was decided to issue 6 clasps for the same.

Yes I have seen it! The recipient was the only horse from the regt to return home from South Africa! :)
