R.O. 182 – 24-03-1900
The detail for stable duties will be as follows :-
Troop 1 “A” Squadron and Troop 2 of “C” Squadron mounting 8 a.m. of 25th inst. Troops 3 and 4 “C” Squadron 8 p.m. inst.
R.O. 183 – 24-03-1900
Regt. No. 512 Shoeing Smith Robert Fletcher from “A” Squadron is hereby transferred to “C” Squadron from this date.
R.O. 184 – 24-03-1900
The Officer Commanding is pleased to promote Regt. No. 512 Shoeing-Smith R. Fletcher of “C” Squadron of the rank of Farrier Sergeant, to date from 7th March, 1900.
R.O. 185 – 24-03-1900
R.O. 108 of the 10.3.00 in so far as it relates to Pte. Jones of “A” Squadron and Pte. Thomas of “B” Squadron is hereby cancelled.
R.O. 186 – 24-03-1900
The Officer Commanding has been pleased to promote Regt. No. 5 Pte. A. M. Brown of “A” Squadron to the rank of Corporal from this date.
R.O. 187 – 24-03-1900
In the future and until further orders revolvers and lanyards will be worn on all parades, guards etc.
R.O. 188 – 24-03-1900
A medical inspection of all N. C. Officers and men, will be held, commencing with “A” Squadron, at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Dress – Khaki, breeches, canvas shoes, service cap and no jackets. In the event that any N.C.O. or Man being found with a concealed disease they will be dealt with according to the Army Act and should the Regiment be ordered at once to the front such men will be left behind and will take no part in future operations of the Regiment. Squadron and Troop Officers will attend the above parade with muster rolls.
R.O. 189 – 24-03-1900
Until further orders the following will be the stable routine :-
8.00 a.m. – Take down all feed boxes and clean stables.
11.00 a.m. – Water and Feed Bran and Oats dry, one pound each.
1.00 p.m. – Feed Hay
2.30 p.m. – Take down boxes
5.30 p.m. – Water and Feed Bran Mash cold
10.00 p.m. – Take down boxes
12.00 Midnight – Water and Feed Hay
2.00 a.m. – Take down boxes
5.00 a.m. – Water and Feed Bran hot
