Captain Cameron will take all N.C.O.'s available, not on duty, for practising words of command at 2.00 pm this afternoon. Any N.C.O. with poor word of command must be kept at this kind of work until he is efficient.

The following N.C.O.'s and Men who were in the hospital suffering from venereal disease from the 12th to 30th April inclusive will have the number of days opposite their respective names deducted from their pay.

This order is in accordance with the Queen's Regulations para 477 "Fines for Drunkenness" also para 469 "Detention in Hospital caused by Neglect."

A board of Officers of the following detail, President Capt. Cartwright, Members Lieuts. Benyon and Christie will assemble tomorrow morning at 11.15 am to verify and record the services of the undermentioned Privates about to be invalided. Regt. No. 105 Private Watson, Regt. No. 369 Private Orchard.

All Officers, N.C.O.'s and Men who have not the first aid dressing in their khaki frocks must parade at the tailor's shop at once and have them put in. Officers Commanding Squadrons will see that this is attended to at once.

The steadying straps on rifles will until further orders be placed on the sling at the lower end of the rifle.

R.O. 486-02-05-1900

Horse Regt. No. 313 is hereby transferred from "B" to "A" Squadron from this date.

R.O. 487-02-05-1900

In future no men are allowed to take their meals around the camp kitchen. S.Sgt. Majors are to see this order is carried out at once.

R.O. 488-02-05-1900

Until further orders khaki putties and ankle boots are to be worn for all dismounted duties and parades in camp. Brown boots will be worn on mounted parades and when going into town on duty or on pass.

R.O. 489-02-05-1900

The undermentioned men are returned to the Squadrons opposite their respective names, at their own request. They however will remain with the transport until it is handed over to the Imperial Authorities.

Until further orders all horses except the 13 not already tested for glanders, will be fed from nosebags.

R.O. 491-02-05-1900

"A" and "B" Squadrons will parade mounted in drill order tomorrow. General parade will sound ay 9.00 am. Every available horse is to be mounted. Care however must be taken that a sufficient amount of horses are kept in so as to keep the shoeing-smiths employed.

R.O. 492-02-05-1900

Nose Bags are to be distinctly marked S.H. and with the Regt. No. of the horse. On no account are nose bags other than the ones set aside for horses as numbered to be used. Great care must be taken as to the latter part of this order.

Members of the Corps are forbidden to ride horses over parts of the grounds where horses infected with glanders are or have been. i.e. Confines are from the rear of the left of "B" Lines to a line with light house on shore and latrines.

Just about kicked out of the regiment just like the RSM was.....
