Another very nice memorial, very atmospheric with the "stairods" of rain coming down!

The park that the memorial is in is only a few hundred yards from the railway station so it was the first place I went to after arriving in Penrith; that's when it was raining heavily.
By the time I called back in the afternoon, before catching the return train, it was nice and sunny.

Just back from a holiday at Centre Parcs Whinfell Nr. Penrith.
I had to pay a visit to the memorial on the way home being inspired by this thread by Berenice.
Took a few more pics which I have added to the thread.
This memorial was originally erected outside the Town hall in the town square but was moved to the park because of fears of deterioration from pollution.
