Unfortunately not mine, a possession of The National Trust within the Treasurer's House in York.

I spotted this model on a window ledge, I remember Meurig telling me about this a while ago.
Because I could not be repositioned the light was behind so apologies for the poor photography.
This image is interesting because it shows Cavalry which is missing from the main memorial behind struck by lightning.

A few more images, hope this is of interest.

Regards
Paul :)
P.S. Still no success in finding a transcription for the memorial, York library archives and York Minster archives held no records :(

Goods to see the model still in situ.

I have a transcription of the names from the memorial with corrections etc. on www.boerwarregister.com and fmp.

Hello Paul

Apologies - my English lets me down again  - these foreign tongues! You won't find a complete list of all names until I make some changes to the website - sooner this year rather than later I hope. But, all casualties on the memorial are noted as such.
