Blackburn! There's a statue of Augustus Caesar, now in the museum, which is a generic memorial, but there's no specific memorial for the men of Blackburn, and there must have been quite a few from the town who served and died in South Africa in the East Lancashire Regiment. Even nearby Darwen has an impressive memorial.
