Good Morning Berenice...…

Can you tell me if the following man is on the BW memorial...…

7643 Lance-Corporal Robson, James

Thanks..... Mike

Mike, the only Robson on the memorial is Lance Corporal John Robson, died from disease. Could the memorial have an incorrect first name?

Berenice..... I think that the name on the memorial is incorrect and is James..... I have his Small Book and a Letter from his fellow soldiers where they have raised some money to have a bed in his name for a military hospital..... Mike

Lance Corporal Robson is also shown as John Robson upon the regiments memorial in St Ninian's Cathedral, Perth, a service of dedication took place on Tuesday the 5th of May 1903.
