Born 1876 Whaddon, Buckinghamshire son of James CAPELL (1840–1877) an agricultural labourer, & Hannah CAPELL nee HAYWARD (1843–1912) a lace maker of Ampthill Road, Shefford.
Previous occupation, groom, & signs as CAPELL on attestation form dated 18th March 1896.
Died at home in the autumn of 1900

Died of consumption on return home Bedfordshire Mercury 3rd June 1904.

I’ve always thought that the Bedfordshire memorial was particularly well depicted. It’s lovely to see such a crowd at its unveiling.
