Another big 'thank you' to you, Adrian! I was struck by the well maintained cemetery and the excellent condition of the original headstones. Congratulations to the inhabitants of the eastern Free State are called for.

Regards
Brett

Thanks Chaps,

I thought that the pictures would interest you all.

There were a good 80 odd graves in Bethlehem but with having at least 1300 Km's still ahead of me at that point I had to move on. The Cemetery has many old English Families buried there as well which I found very interesting.

Brian,

Just a tad

Actually when we passed the Cemetery which is on the main road through Bethlehem (N5)she suggested that I take a few pic's as long as I was not going to be longer than 10 minutes!!

Good Girl at least I am winning her over it seems.

Cheers

It is a great excuse for "a break" and not a bad idea either, those trips you do are too far for me. These days 800 km is about the max I can do in a day.

Pat has just given up on me, after 30 years she has resigned herself to the fact that my hobbies and I are a package deal.

I'm sure our Brit mates will be shocked at these distances we are talking about here!
