Dear Brett

I am working at the War Museum in Bloemfontein, South Africa and I am busy with a new database for the soldiers who had died during the Anglo-Boer War of 1899-1902. I have already a number of 1 880 pictures of graves/memorials and 919 pictures of persons. It is sometimes difficult to obtain pictures of privates or troopers.

I am pleased to know your location and about your research project. I recently borrowed a copy of the book 'With Saint Barbara in South Africa' by Captain Otto von Lossberg, so the Boer War in the Orange Free State has been much on my mind.
