Your posts exceeded 1,000 today so I wanted to thank you on behalf of the many members of this forum for all the support you have provided to members and for sharing details of your collection. Your willingness to research, answer members' queries and make suggestions is well known and much appreciated.

As a moderator I am also very thankful for the work you do to keep the forum free from those posts that are less focused on the Boer War.

I certainly second that, moreover, indeed, whilst not Anglo Boer War related, your second paragraph is, in my opinion, very important, given the number of idiots that seem to feel that this sites forum should be used for advertisement purposes and so on, very clearly, a very important task is to ensure they are removed, I regret that I had not given too much thought on the subject of just how this is actually done.
