Good Evening Everyone……

Well this is my 1000th posting and I was saving it for a special reason……

I would like at this time to give public thank you to all the members who have posted in the forum…..

Some I agree with and some I do not but that is what this forum is, a place to learn and boy I have learned…..

It is also the place to enjoy the company of fellow “Bores”….. As a brass plaque that my wife had made for my den door “Beware He Who Enters Here Runs the Risk of Being Boer’d to Death…..

I would like to take this time to say thanks to David for setting up the forum in the first place, David I know it is hard work but I am sure that it is a Labour of Love…… Thank You

I hereby nominate Dave for a Distinguished Service Order……

To Frank, Thank You, what more can I say to a virtual walking Encyclopedia you have given us Colonials and this Colonial in particular a fountain of information and as I have said before there is no way that I can think of anything to say or do to express my gratitude but to say Thank You…..

I hereby nominate Frank for a Companion of The Order of Saint Michael and Saint George…..

And everyone else that I have been in contact with, Brett, Adrian, Paul, Neil, DavidH, Mark and many many more I just hope that even if I did not mention your name I still appreciate the assistance that you have given to me and to the forum……
