I struggle to imagine what you could do with a plum pudding, these days, other than to actually eat it, I suppose it could be sold on, to someone else, who might wish to eat it, although, in the case of this particular example, I dare say it has gone past it's best and is clearly worth rather more, from a monetary point of view, as is.
