No, I has not seen the memoir by his sister. I wonder why she published it 20 years after his death?

I am thinking that the statuette for Kimberley is of French rather than Kekewich but this is only a hunch.

I'm sure you're right and it is French. He would fit better with the series and it looks like him too! I am trying to find the original ad for confirmation. Poor old Kekewich got very little recognition in the press back home and was rather overshadowed by Rhodes.

Many thanks for this original advertisement for the statuettes. In looking at the three siege commanders, they manufacturers decided to commemorate just one.

I will write the NAM and suggest the cataloguing of one of their statuette is incorrect.
