Silver gilt. Fitted with loop.45.21 mm dia., 60.06 grams.
Artist: Spink & Son. (Canton-Woodville)

Sold in aid of the Daily Mail Kipling War Fund for the assistance of widows and orphans of British soldiers. The popular “jingle” was recited daily at the Palace Theatre for the benefit of the Daily Mail War fund by Lady Tree and raised £70 000 in fourteen weeks.

Sold for £11-10-00 in 18ct gold, 12/6d for silver and 3/- in bronze.
