I have just come across this excellent site and have decided to join after a few visits as a guest.

I have both a family interest - a great uncle served in South Africa 1900/1902 - and a general interest so will post some queries over the next few days.

QSA Mike - do you know Karen Storwick at Calgary Military Museum? She was very helpful to me in late 2012 when with her help I contacted long lost relatives in Calgary/Bragg Creek.
