Having just returned from South Africa after discovering a relation to myself who also had a relation in the second Boer War her father was Thomas Mace..My relation Charles Mace..both who where fighting in the Light Horse Infantry..she mentioned to me that her relation was captured at DE-Wets-dorp 23 November 1900,but I cant figure out how to research this can any body help please thank you

The first thing to do would be a careful look in WO126/55-65.

Charles Mace is on the nominal roll of the Imperial Light Horse under 'Unit information' elsewhere on this site as No. 2768, enlisted 23/11/1901, discharged 30/6/1902. I did not look further for Thomas Mace.
