That is fascinating!!

The uniform shown in the photograph was not worn by the ILH in the Anglo Boer War, if he did serve in German South West Africa in the 5th Mounted Rifles, or, the 2nd Imperial Light Horse, his medal cards, at the very least, will be available in Pretoria and perhaps a small file too.
